3rd Place Ryan Leach Composing Competition November 2024

In my second participation in a Ryan Leach Composing Competition this year, I made it to the finals again!
And my composition "Teacher of Ubuntu" was awarded with the 3rd place!
Thanks to Ryan's team once again to makeing this possible for us! 

This one had to be composed for a certain instrumentation of the filmscoring orchestra Cinemagic Scoring, based in South Africa and led by the conductor Gavin Potter.  It had all to be done within Musescore, a regular notation software. So no fancy DAW tweaking! :)
If anyone is interested in the score, I'm happy to share it!

The composition had to be created based on the beautiful artwork "mountain" by Ngan Pham!

Finalist Ryan Leach Composing Competiton January 2024

My composition "Cosmic Equilibrium" was chosen as one of the twelve finalists for the Ryan Leach Composing Competition January 2024. 
Out of over five hundert entries, my piece made it to the last round. 
The livestream, where the 12 entries got judged and analysed, was a great experience and it was a blast to hear all the different entries!

Zurich Filmmusic Competition 2022
